One of our very first kitchen cabinet painting tips is to wash all your doors and cupboards. Depending on what you envision your kitchen cabinets to look like you might have only needed to clean them up and bring a shine back to them and possibly change the door handles are doorknobs.
If you are unsatisfied with the results of the first kitchen cabinets painting tips then at least you have a good start with clean cupboard doors and cabinets to start your sanding and painting.
To start with you have to consider what color you are going to paint. You have to think about whether you want the kitchen cabinetry to blend in with the kitchen or if you wanted to pop out and in contrast to the rest of the surrounding area.
If you are not a brave sort then I strongly suggest you should consider colors in the white family closer to white then to any kind of color. If you do research on the color choice you might look at and consider such things as “opposite colors” or “complementary colors” you can find these at Benjamin Moore paints website. Okay, you have decided that you are going to faint your kitchen cupboards white with a touch of blue which will give it a cooler feel to the caller. This is called bright white. Using this it will give you the illusion that the cabinet doors are very bright even though they are slightly darker than pure white since you added a little bit of blue to white. Likewise, you could add little yellow or umber to make it a little bit softer and creamier color. Also if you had green it will also cool down the white slightly but don't forget we are only talking a drop or two into a gallon otherwise you are changing the entire shade of the caller white all you want is a slight hint of something.

Kitchen cupboard painting tips/decorative door handles
Not that long ago we finished painting some kitchen cabinets in Mississauga and the customer went out and bought some rose-colored handles. This simple little add-on really made an impact on the overall looks of the cabinets. Some people have handles the whole time and they might want to change the knobs and vice versa some people have knobs and they want to go to handles. Either way, this can be taken care of. The whole can be drilled to accommodate a handle if it had a knob and if it had a handle the spare pool could be plugged. There are many different types of handles available.
Hopefully, we have helped you somewhat on kitchen cabinet painting tips and ideas.
