How to Refinish Cabinets like a Pro – Painting Kitchen Cabinets Project

I was watching the video on how to re-face cupboards like a pro and painting kitchen cupboards, there are a number of things that we do differently from the process and procedures that are done painting these kitchen cabinets and kitchen cabinet doors. When you have done as many remodelling jobs as we have you come up with different time-saving effective practices.
We remove all the hardware from all the doors systematically and place the items into a large enough container to have them all in there. Next, we unscrew all the hinges from the door side leaving the entire door hinge assembly on the cabinets. What this does it ensures that the door alignment to that specific door will stay aligned. If you start slowly removing hinges you're going to have to realign all the doors.
First of all, when removing the doors we do not use masking tape to mark each individual one. We place a number inside one of the hinge pocket holes making sure it is clear and visible. Then we mark the corresponding number two an in a conspicuous spot on the cupboard box. What this does it eliminates the problems that occur with tape. First of all masking tape is a pain to take off and put back on numerous times. It also loses its adhesion after a number of placements and finally when the doors completely painted you don't really want to put the tape back on.
Getting to the doors now we don't use any types of liquid sandpaper or product to deglaze the finish. If there are still scratches in the wood it is better to do a light sanding and use a tack cloth on the wood. Of course, if the doors seem to be dirty or greasy is advisable first to use a potent soap or degreasing agent to clean the door off and then afterwards rinse the soap off.

If you have solid wood doors that have damaged faces this the time to place some wood filler onto the damaged area whether be a scratch or dent. It's a little different story though if a corner is broken off or dented here we would not suggest using any kind of filler because it would have no strength unless it is a very small area that really gets no contact basically.
Once you have all your wood filler repairs done and sanded with fine sandpaper and smooth and flush to the surface you can prime that localized area. Have a look at it after it has dried from an angle to make sure that there is no hump there or depression from sanding there. It would be terrible if you if you completed the job put everything together and you have these bumps or dents still in your door. So make sure you inspect everything you do before you proceed to the next step.
Painting your kitchen cabinet and doors. There are different methods for different kitchen cabinet painters for painting kitchen cabinets. When we refinish cabinets there are a number of variables that have to be taken into consideration,The amount of space in the kitchen if we are painting on-site in the room
Quick Note, we do not do any refinishing of kitchen with oil-based paint. The paint we use instead of oil-based paint is a  Benjamin Moore hybrid paint that will leave no brush marks when using a foam roller and a light brushing On the doors and drawer fronts.
